ROSCon China 2025
SHANGHAI CHINA
October 2025
ROSCon is the premier annual conference in the field of the Robot Operating System (ROS). Having successfully completed 13 editions leading up to 2025, each event brings together top global experts, academics, and industry leaders to discuss the latest technological advancements, application cases, and future trends in robotics and ROS.
ROSCon China was initiated by the OSRF (Open Source Robotics Foundation) to promote ROS adoption and community building within China. Since 2024, OSRF has authorized the Robot Operating System (ROS) Education Foundation and Guyuehome to organize this conference in China.
Following the inaugural ROSCon China 2024, ROSCon China 2025 continues to create a platform for exchange and showcasing for all developers passionate about robotics. The conference is scheduled for October 2025 in Shanghai (specific date and venue details to be announced later). We invite industry experts, researchers, and enthusiasts from the robotics and ROS communities to join us in empowering the robotics community, both domestically and internationally. Whether you aim to learn the latest in ROS technology or share your ideas with ROS community peers and fellow developers, we welcome your participation in this event.
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, please feel free to contact the ROSCon China Organizing Committee.

Proposal Submission
All submissions to ROSCon China 2025 will undergo a rigorous review by the Organizing Committee. Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Relevance to the ROS Community - Submissions should be relevant to the ROS ecosystem and address topics of interest to ROS developers. Content should avoid excessive dependence on specific hardware to ensure broad applicability and generality. It should contribute to elevating the overall technical proficiency of the ROS developer community, fostering knowledge sharing and technological advancement.
- Quality of Content / Impact - We encourage proposals featuring high-impact, significant ideas. Proposals should demonstrate proven quality and practical application, rather than being purely theoretical.
- Presentation Quality - Clearly articulating your ideas is crucial for delivering a compelling live presentation.
- Originality / Novelty - Content should be original and not substantially presented elsewhere before. Showcasing novel work or perspectives is highly valued.
- Open Source Availability - Preference will be given to submissions associated with publicly available open-source code or projects, enabling participants to reproduce and utilize the shared technology.
If you wish to submit proposals related to ROS open-source projects or other relevant topics as described above, or if you are interested in contributing to the ROS ecosystem in other capacities, we invite you to share the details with us. We strongly encourage proposal submissions from speakers of all backgrounds and experience levels. We look forward to your participation and collaboration as we work together to advance the ROS community!
